Lewisian Geniss is some of the oldest stone in the world, at around 7 billion years old. This stunning rock is made up of layers of metamorphic gneisses, quartzes and feldspars. These different types give the wonderful variety of colours including black, grey, red and the particularly striking green feldspar. Some of the pieces I have crafted into jewellery are purely quartz with a delicate luminecence. All are unique and stunning making beautiful statement jewellery.
